Disaster Relief for Haiti – Mobil Phone donations

It is hard to imagine the despair and devastation that is going on in the aftermath of Haiti’s massive earthquake, but there is a quick and easy way to help. Several organizations including The Red Cross have been accepting donations through mobile phone texts. It is so easy and the mobil donations have raised millions of dollars in the past several days. It takes ten seconds to donate $10.00 and help. Also listed below are other worthy organizations which will provide medical relief. 

TO DONATE  $10.00 to the RED CROSS 

IN THE PHONE NUMBER SECTION of your text message  TEXT THE NUMBER 90999, then in the message part write HAITI. 

You will receive a confirmation that your donation has been received. The funds will be billed to your phone bill. 

Other text-message codes for donations include:

Text the word “YELE” to 501501 to donate $5 to the Yele Haiti foundation.

Text the word “HAITI” to 20222 to donate $10 to the Clinton Foundation Haiti Relief Fund.

Text “HAITI” to 25383 to donate $5 to the International Rescue Committee.

Text “HAITI” to 85944 to donate $10 to the International Medical Corps.
