The sale of sales is on. If you have the energy and time, The Barney’s Warehouse Sale is an urban bargain shoppers rite of passage. This year it is downtown, starting now through next week. It is not at the Santa Monica Airport Hanger where it has been in the past. I have always found great deals at this sale, prices are more than half off what you would find at the Barney’s store. If you are in the right mood, this sale is kind of fun.
Tip #1: Go to the shoe section first. Most people don’t, and you may get lucky.
Tip #2: Wear a skirt and tank top for easy try-ons. There is no dressing room and you often have to slip things on in a corner.
Tip #3: Leave the kids at home. The atmosphere is chaotic, and you want to be able to comb through the racks without wondering where your child is hiding.
If you love a good sale, The Barney’s Warehouse sale is really not to be missed.
