Yoga Shelter – a great deal for a calmer year

by Lee Rose Emery

Ah, New Year’s Resolutions:

One of my top resolutions is to practice more yoga. After I do yoga, my whole day is better. I am less reactive; I am calmer with the kids. My thinking is clearer. I just feel better, and somehow more like myself. One new place I have discovered that I LOVE is Yoga Shelter on Ventura Blvd. Yoga Shelter is a small studio which offers a variety of classes and many are just and hour which I find just right. The atmosphere is cozy and music is played throughout the class, which I really like. All the teachers I have had have been great, down to earth and often quite funny. There is am 8:30 am class at Yoga Shelter Monday, Wednesday and Friday that I can do after the school drop off, which is an ideal way to start the day. By 9:30 I am relaxed, stretched out and ready to face whatever the day may throw me.

Lucky for you, if you have not tried Yoga Shelter, Family Finds, a local groupon company that I am partnering with is offering a great Yoga Shelter deal: $35.00 for a month of classes for first time students. Now you really have no excuses. Click here to see the Family Finds Yoga Shelter offer. Even if you only went 5 times in that month, that is just $7 bucks a class.

Send me an e-mail and tell me what your New Year’s Resolutions are. Maybe this is the tear to really stick to them.
